Calm Down Your Skin

The first step in preparing for your visit to Monaco is to quit playing with your skin. Don’t test any new serums, treatments or harsh exfoliating products as most skin problems occur due to abrupt changes in routine before events. Instead, you should stick to your regular skincare products. Use a mild cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. But what if your skin feels dry? Instead of changing the entire skincare routine, just replace your moisturizer with a more hydrating one.  The idea is to ensure that your skin remains in a stable, calm condition, and doesn't surprise you with flare-ups of skin breakouts, skin redness or irritation during the event.

Use Light-Weight Products

Heavy skincare may not feel comfortable when the weather is warm and a little humid, particularly around the harbor and open streets of Monaco. Not just that, but heavy creams or rich products may not always go well with cosmetics and can end up greasing your skin by lunchtime. That is why lighter textures are more suitable for this type of setting. Gel-based moisturizers, water creams or light lotions work fast and prevent your skin from becoming heavy. A hydrating mist can also be applied throughout the day when your skin starts to feel dry and tired. Moreover, avoid piling on the products; go for easy-to-skin breathability. After all, it is not about overusing product on your face; it's about keeping your face fresh and comfortable.

Don’t Forget the Sunscreen

One thing that you can’t forget at any cost during Monaco trip is sunscreen. Remember, you’ll be outdoors and near the water for extended periods where the sun reflects and magnifies the intensity of UV rays. Despite the mild weather, there is high UV exposure during the day. Therefore, it is important to wear a lightweight sunscreen that fits well with cosmetics.  Remember to apply it at least 15 to 20 minutes before going outside. Make sure you apply it all over your face, neck and any other exposed skin. Don't forget to reapply the sunscreen every two to three hours to prevent your skin from getting tanned, burnt or uneven.

Take Care of Tired Eyes

One of the first signs of tiredness appears under the eyes, particularly on event days when it's extremely hard to get a good night's sleep Woodstock although your face may appear healthy, having coffee or dull under eyes can change the entire look in reality and in pictures. Therefore, apply ice cream or gel to your under eyes in the days leading up to the event. This will keep your under eyes hydrated and refreshed. along with that, you need to prioritize your sleep as well. Make sure you sleep at least 7 to 8 hours a day to look fresh and rejuvenated for the event.

Keep Everything Simple on D-day

Once you step out into Monaco for the day, your skincare routine should already be done. This is not the time for you to constantly apply products or makeup on your face every hour. Remember, too much makeup can irritate your skin, making you feel uncomfortable.  Rather, get your skin ready before you leave the hotel, so it remains stable all day. Most of the time, a good sunscreen, light base makeup and a setting spray will get you through the day easily.
